Yes this week i’ve been impressed I love out new time table because most of its in the labs or 148 woo :D, Today i laid in bed because I wasnt gonna set off for college until 9 this way its alot better because I should be able to skip some of the rush hour traffic and that I aint got a hour to kill soon as i get to college :)Downside is that I aint really got to see my gf shelly much this week but we do make use of the time together when we get it so that pretty cool! I went round shellys on sunday to spend some time together it was nice being together and I tried to sort out her PC while I was there but she had some many viruses (180) and so much adware and spware (993) that removing the effected files removed explorer.exe - oops.

I’ve done some minor upgrades to my system this week with a new 160gb SATA (3gb/s) hard drive and putting the old 120gb into my grentz PC and selling the 40gb out of my grentz PC to someone at college. I’m also buliding another system which i will sell in the end I think because i can’t find a decent use for it, I had serveral ideas at first these were:

• Linux webserver - Could use it for developing projects like SysTom or Paid jobs
• Media Center - Required buying decent graphics card and tv card…
• Spare Machine - Would only collect dust…
• Dedicated fileserver - WAP (grentz PC) is now one…
• BETA Tester machine - Not really in many BETA products anymore.

So yeah there some good ideas there but they will either require more money which i don’t like spending or would get bored of using in the end.

Work is going alright this week too whih is good, Ooooh yeah Saturday was interesting because on Wednesday grandad bought a new pump for the front pond so Saturday was my day getting it to fit the orginal system, at first this proved to be abit of a pain because the pipe was too small to fit the pump, but with some inprovisation i managed to get some bits of piping together and make it join to the pipe I added a tap too.

With all that in place it was ready to go put it all together and what happened? the filter floods so it was a good job I added the tap to turn down the pressure few tweaks later its back on without flooding… go me. So yeah thats all really i got a video as normal this one is a little bit wierd

Last week was pretty boring we didnt do alot just some college work and we started out City & Guilds work too, I plowed ahead to try get some work done, but i’ve still got Sad 2 to finish and to tell the truth im kinda stuck on it now… Web dev aint a problem thats straight forward and i think thats what i’ll get done hopefully by friday!

Pete is now back at college he is very loud we aint been used to such noises in weeks lol! Didnt see alot of shelly this week but we did see each other as much as possible She is on placement this week so I may or may not get to see her depending on how our breaks fallin with each others so i hope we do get to see each other abit more, im going round hers on sunday

Its been a interesting week at work too! The power station is off for a month and work started this week I was up in control  room and well theres not a great deal of work to do really not as bad as i thought it would be. The system is currently being upgraded this i found very interesting because its actaully seeing what i’ve learn in college like SAD the current system would of been analysized then plans drawn up what whats require and now there implementing it and bug reporting as its bespoke software.

I have a funny idea its  either VB or C++ too I really wanna learn more buI aint the most talkitive person at work like I am at college… all in good time Also I have been experimenting with php and mysql and made a user login system then expanded it to a posting system too if you feel a  need to try it out heres the link its pretty basic though!

Well this week its been boring really what with my portable hard drive dying while backing up it just aint really been my week. Its starts off with last week i’d got all my assignmnets near enough completed and deleted the old backup on WAP (grentz PC) to make room for the new backup (WAP has only got 300mb disk space left) Goto run the backup half way through it spins down… windows starts moaning about it… not being able to read it…

So i unplugged it and popped it back in nothing… totally dead no spin up nothing… so i preordered one from PC Worlds site and drove to Kings Lynn bought it for £20… urgh then drove home. Got home openned the case and there was a hard drive inside already… wierd… so i took that one out and popped mine in and nothing… i started to panic because i’d lost all last years work and more importantly all this years work i was nearly at crying stages at one point.

So i calmed down and started looking into Data Recovery prices ranging from £100 to £1000, i got a quote of £145 to have my data recovered but decided it would be faster (and cheaper) to redo it again so here I am redo’ing SAD , BIS 2, and web dev! Well having a break at least! Thats all i’ve really been doing

Friday was my birthday i had my mate pete round because everyone was busy or they live too far away which is fair enough. Me and pete had a pretty good laugh we didnt go out just sat in the living room watching old school tv programs like… Crystal Maze while getting pissed lol! pretty fun time Saturday was interesting, i was n bed and at 7am theres a phone call… (im still recovering from friday) answer it and theres an emergency next door… i’ll let the pictures answer:

Yes thats a flood in the front garden from the previous nights heavy rain the mina sewage pipe got blocked and so my aunt was getting everyones sewage in the front lawn as the day progressed more water just kept on coming until anglian water turned up 4 hours later! I got sat nav for my Bday which is pretty cool for when i got out to places, like to see shelly.

Worked sunday didnt do alot though monday… see shelly and my mates lol that was pretty cool but i didnt get to see shelly much same with tuesday but she looked so fit seriously it made me think to myself wow i’m going out with her i feel like the luckiest guy alive (i know you will all laugh but thats how she makes me feel, she is so hot!

I really am in pain this week I can hardly walk cuz f my back i think i’ve slipped a disc or something but it kills and i walk like a stick insect because if i walk normally it hurts so i have to walk retarded it still hurts but not as bad well i aint really done alot all week i’ve attempted to get some college work done!

So i’ve been pretty busy this week today i went to the doctor today about my back and he has subscribed me some pills so hopefully my back pains will be cured! Then I got attacked by my razor when I was shaving I had it unde the hot water then put it on my face and the shock made me jerk and cut all my lip thats begining to heal up.

Today my new CPU turned up so I did a mini upgrade from a Intel Celeron D 2.66Ghz with 256k cache to a Intel Pentium 4 HT 3Ghz with 2mb cache. I can kinda notice  speed difference bu the cache will be the biggest improvement!

And i’ve upgraded my grents pc too ok this is enough PC talk. Me and shelly getting along well i’m missing her i cant wait to get back to college to see her and my mates! oh well heres a video!

I got my first ever white card this week, go me! What for? For saying the word bloody lol! Yes that’s right people last years voted Best Academic Performance Award guy on white card for doing his work! Well I guess what I did was wrong but I feel that being put on a white card for what I did was completely wrong and maybe just maybe because of last weeks rant about Business?

So there I was it started off a normal day in biz and I actually started work - yes I actually did some work for once! And well I can sometimes talk for a whole lesson and not get any work done but that day I got into doing this assignment and I was getting along fine! The lecturer was talking but I was doing my work (not making any noise, when others was).

So the lecturer interrupted me from my work and well without thinking I kind of shouted “I’m trying to do my bloody assignment” now personally I didn’t mean this to be in anyway offensive I was just pissed doff at the fact that I was doing some work and I got interrupted. This kind of kicked thing off for the whole day!

They run off to go tell tale to my tutor who puts me on a white card (totally over the top) Everyone agrees this was over the top and I have been treated unfairly too, I think if they really wanted to kind of tell me to shut up swear back at me other members of staff do! nah white card, that really did piss me off.

So I walked in class with this white card and up comes my temper now I walked out of the class for the reason of that if I didn’t I would of probably caused a lot of damage so I did a U turn out of the room and went straight downstairs to go calm down with a councillor, 15 minutes or so and I’d calmed down.

The councillor took me back upstairs to say sorry and I did say sorry to the biz lecturer but my tutor? No I just starred at him lucky I can actually control my anger really isn’t it?  I was anger at the fact of the PETTINESS of this white card, which I ant really taken any notice of I’ve been good doing my work as I do having a laugh every so often.

I bet if you read that white card it will probably have good stuff on it because I’m a good student, I must reliable in some way because I’m a student rep and I’m helpful too like Thursday I and 3 others moved a room about for a open evening or something I am not a bad student! So I don’t deserve this card!

And even knows if I don’t agree with something I will moan like hell about it, So this is the attitude I’ve taken… They put me on white card (some kind of way for monitor me like big brother) I will just ignore it and do my work, deal with it I get to my lessons on time 99% of the time with pretty good attendance, and handing in most of my assignments in on time (business is a exception to that because I didn’t understand it).

Putting me on these kind of things are not going to help in fact I was actually just planning not to come in and lose my EMA and attendance but no why should I do that? I’ll just do it how I normally do it because I’m still getting the work done and being there on time too! So yeah that’s my rant about the white card! Its not going to change anything I’m still going to do my work and attend college too, all it does is just piss me off and disrupt me!

Now Wednesday was a very important day! Valentines Day  A lot of things to do Woke up early went up town to draw money then came back put in £20 in the tank cleaned inside and outside the car and changed my near the legal limit tire for my spare steelie until I get it sorted out (probably next week).

So did that but I couldn’t get the nuts undone gdad came out to have a go and with jumping on the hex kind of thing the bolts started to come undone, the wheel was stuck on so I had to kick it until it came off! anyways swapped them round and did them back up the hex bent pretty badly that’s French stuff for ya!

So gdad gave me this strong ENGLISH (London taxi) one which I popped under my back seat this is were problems arose, because while putting it there I lodged a cable (my earth cable for my sub but I didn’t know it). So I went to work at 2 with no problems finished at 4.30 then drove to Boston!

As I was driving the electronics (mostly radio and brakes) was coming on and off when this happened the ABS kicked in! ignored it and carried on to Boston picked up Shelly and drove home… it didn’t do it at all then! got home and me n Shelly spent some time together then got read to take Shelly out!

So we drove to Spalding no problems! Got to the restaurant (The Mermaid) and got our table which I booked for about a week in advance and they had a special menu which was 2 courses for £19.95 not bad so we chose what we wanted and that was that.

The meal was very nice but they canned me on the drinks me thinks! Shelly enjoyed herself and then we went home, the car played up like mad all the way back getting worse as I was coming back then as I turned into the yard… BOOM! Total Black out! The car was dead nothing at all.

Lifted up the bonnet and took off the plus and popped it back on and there was a spark from my + to the sub that means bad earth so I dc all that and it’s been fine since! Shelly really enjoyed being round here and I asked her out

Today I have done some overtime at work for over 3 hrs every little helps cleaning windows that’s all I started at 9 and didn’t get home till about 12.30 lol and now I have a week off college excellent!
