Warning this first half is about computers and stuff but its a big chunk of my life.

For 8yrs solid i’ve been a die-hard Microsoft fanboy starting off as a total newb in 1998, I know near enough every windows operating system like the back of my hand and I still and probably always will. I’ve always been against other operating systems such as linux and Mac OS X, but recently that has changed. After messing about trying to troubleshoots problems and crashing losing work that takes hours to do i’d had enough.

Some of my MSN contact knew how stressed I was from losing my work and I decided to install a linux Distro I tried the popular ubuntu distro and I really liked it but… I couldn’t and wouldn’t use the GIMP I needed my photoshop I tried using WINE alsorts trying to get it to work MSN was another one theres pretty of great clients out the but theres only a handful which has webcam viewing/sending and this was vital.

I kept coming and goingback to Ubuntu but them 2 things was stopping me from converting. I went back to windows then I got this crazy idea what about a intel mac mini? Only problem I can’t afford it so I had to sell something… I sold my pride and joy this might seem abit sad but my PC was my baby I built it about a year or two ago and now it had come to the time to sell it.

I put it and some other bits on ebay and my PC on a forum too and I manged to sell it they came round to pick it up yesterday the same night I went on ebay to find a PC that will support Mac OS X being installed on it (ok Ben and Semaja2 didn’t agree but they will get over it ) hmmm well the system specs seemed pretty good:

all that for £230 inc p&p and it would run Mac OS X perfectly.

The Mac Intel Mini I wanted was:

Built-in AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth 2.0

I think personally all your paying with apples hardware is for the logo, thats my honest opinion i’m getting such a better spec for alot less so i did that… hey if it dont work out I can soon sell it and buy a proper mac! I so have myself a new machine it comes preinstalled with Tiger too.

So whats it really… Yesterday I went to Peterboro when shopping for college clothes and stuff very stressful thing really all I had to keep me sane was txting Leanne… hmmm Leanne I can’t say too much about that matter really she’s going on holiday I really wanna say more tell the world but I can’t and i’ve probably f**ked that up but as the caring person I am i keep on going caring and loving how ever much I could get hurt I still do it.

Thats it not a very interesting post I guess but its an update :/ can’t wait to go back to college to see my mates again my interview date is on 31st august I hope everything goes well

Spain wasn't that good I can't remember much else but it sucked. I was gonna stop but my dad got all sh*tty over it he was sh*tty all the time. So theres Spain out of the way, England flight was delayed by 1 hour that wasnt too good. Theres been alot on my mind which I really must get out.

The first thing is my dad really has changed for the worst, I won't go into details but it hurt me in a way that i've been been hurt so much to see him in a state like that. Really is hard hitting like me and my bro have both agreed on that we both feel sorry for mum.

Thats one thing out of that way without saying too much the second really did make me angry. Someone I have respected for years has lost my respect… My Aunty Jayne, she isn't my real aunty i've just been brought up that way to call her that. She is infact a close family friend.

So what did she do to upset me? Well she didn't just upset me she also upset my brother and my mum. Well I guess I better say what was said well basically she went to spain with my brother went to my rents house and said to my mum "oh your a bad mother" and also offended my brother my dad of course didn't stand up for my mum.

They was only in spain for 2 weeks and she come back and started feeding me all this bullsh*t too but I wasn't having it. So after that my mum rang me up crying and I couldnt do nothing about it until I got to spain well I got to spain and got mums side of the story and my original plan was to use Jayne for my free driving lessons and then after i've passed etc throw everything at her… (this is why its a bad idea to be on my wrong side).

But no I came back and I asked for my car back (no i stil had not got my car back) so she came round with my car and log book EXCELLENT!  I thought tomyself well she holds nothing against me now so I gotmmybrother down and we had a bloody good arguement for what she said to my mum and what she said to my brother.

I left with "Oh thanks for my car" and walked up stairs.

Thats about it really had to fix a roof the other day that involved abit of hard work taking th old one off then i went to job centre nobody wanted me though lol thats all

My experience in Spain was quite interesting and saddening at the same time, and I really don't know how to work it out in my head either… Anyways I’m going to do this in parts…

Tuesday, I woke up and oh god I felt sh*t  in the end I got all sorted oh and then had a 10 min nose bleed, (yes they have started again).  I got all sorted and set off for Norwich, traffic wasn't too bad and we didn’t have much
of a problem finding the airport either.  The airport was so small only 4 gates lol, I got all my luggage all sorted then had some grub said bye to the grentz and went through the metal detector with no problems (yay, I hate being
groped by some old man!). My flight was called after a short wait and I got on the plane. I sat down found a mag to read put mp3 player on and chilled, wonderful. Got to Spain as I got off the heat hit me got all my luggage back and went to meet my rents I missed my brother who had just left 2 mins earlier damn we could I been a family for a short
period lol. Anyways got to my rents house cracked open a can of beer (which was 8% vol) yuck. Oh then I had another nose bleed! We had a BBQ for tea watched a bit of TV then went to bed.

Wednesday, woke up feeling sh*t had a drink… Nose bleed for 20mins which suckd and I wasn't very well at all aunty Deb, Rob and Claire (shame no Gem ) was flying in that day so my rents had to go pick them up.  They got all the
cases etc into there place and then came round for tea and we had chicken we watched TV then went to bed still not feeling too good.

Thursday, woke up cant remember much it was boring and I felt sh*t well mum went to work and we had pork chops for
tea, watched TV bad girls was on that was good went to bed. 

Friday, Mum Dad took Rob Claire and Deb to market. Did nothing tried to fix rents pc no luck!  lol again cant remember much but I wasn’t too good!  I was sun bathing on the sun terrace had a nose bleed sometime in the day oo lol and that’s about it had lasagne for tea, didn’t do much watched TV.

So my first few days wasnt too good at all watch out for Part 2 in a few days

Thursday was the day of my driving test I sat there in the waiting room, out comes the most boring person i’ve probably already met in Wisbech for a long time this middle aged man with this… single tone boring voice got this the car and i was already shaking got the car started and nearly stalled it eventually got out the yard and the round about was choco geez.

So I sat in the line wait for my turn eventually it was my turn and I was there waiting for a gap oh god all these cars lorries buses started coming round it was 11.41 and the roads was so busy after 2 minutes or problem more with sweat dripping down my face I eventaully got onto the round about already knowning i’d failed it.

He told me to take 4 exit (dual carriage) sure no problem so i did that.. thing is i’d never done it before and what lane did i stay in? the right… damnit! then there was some people on the road so i slowed down and they was still crossing so i stopped but the lights was green…but there was people on the road so I thought it was best to stop then run them over.

Got off main road then on a calm road and he said “In the interest of public safety I am stopping your test here” F**K OFF YOU TWAT! Sorry but that really annoyed me. I only had 15 minutes for the whole test, bastard.

So that really pissed me off… Saturday night went to pub to watch the england match fucking lost damnit oh well. I went to the pub with sam and his bro’s was at the pub too. Sunday went out to go see dani and char which was night dunno if im going tonight or not..

And thats it really, blog got 124k hits last month so i’m fairly proud of that added some more bits like a ch@tbox on the webcam page the history of tomwrote some tweaks with code and stuff so it will soon be all complete few errors in Internet Explorer which need to be fixed… all in good time

Car still aint turned up which is a bitch not as if i need it won be long till I go to spain either. Oh yeah I got “tagged” by another blog but have no idea how to tag other people something to do with 4meme (no idea) need to do more research! but this blog emailed me saying that i’d been tagged how do I do that?

Oh what a horrible daunting task this is, so far the cheapest I have found for my Peugeot 306 (1.8I (99 ON) 5DR MERIDIAN 1761cc 5DR) is £1700 with Tesco and the highest was £2700!!! Norwich Union, shocking. But what makes it worst is that I put in a number plate of a 1.1 Citroen Saxo and I still got 1700!! Whats going on there’s a big difference between and 1.1 and a 1.8!

I have found this site pretty useful you stick in your details and its search about 50 different companies all at once Quinn seemed a alright quote of 1735 but Tesco is the cheapest right now i’ll keep your updated on my insurance quotes and stuff lol.

As you can probably see the site has changed quite a bit what with the new design and new features something that really needed doing was the post tags so I went back and did over a years worth of post tags so everything is now in order If you haven;t noticed already there’s a new but old archive on the site now too, after tracking my old blog from 2004 I imported all them posts too.

The design is nowhere near done yet but the main features are there the site load is a little bit slow but I am working on improving this it all takes time the top and bottom of the pages are not done either. Well i’ve kinda now calmed down from what I was like in the last post hopefully I wont do it again or i’ll only have 1 more keyboard left

Still kinda down but cheered up while i’m at home tomorrow back to college but its the last week thank god! then it wont be long till I goto Spain YAY! Oh I got an award evening tomorrow so I might even post tomorrow or Wednesday too yet. And thats about it really my car in still in Sutton st James being sorted out or something not too sure about that really but anyways not as if I am driving it lol.

Friday got wrecked after college so did quite a few others I think we are having another one tomorrow too so that will be fun. I am now bored I guess i’ll get back to shopping for car insurance again xD if you have any places I can check leave a comment that be nice thanks
