For some reason this never posted!

Some of you that know me, know that I don’t watch TV, its true I don’t have a TV in my room because most of the time there’s just total utter crap on it and that’s just the BBC. I don’t like the BBC for many reasons mainly Propaganda and the shi*te they air out to people, and yeah believe it or not people watch it and enjoy it, Why? well its beyond me.

Last week I had my first experience of telling the BBC to piss off, Amy has got free view fitted in her room now so I bought her a free view box from tesco, I’ve done my reserch and I know that shops tell the the BBC your details - NOT MINE. I decided to go-to the self service… I distracted the woman to take out the security tag while she was doing that I pressed ok on the screen to cancel the message about taking the details, she then simply entered her pin and I paid for it - Woo.

I hate my personal details on company database’s unless I allow it so this gave me this massive sense of achievement. As I walked out of tesco’s bracing the freeview box in my arms I shouted “FUCK YOU BBC” and proceeded to walk to the car. I think Amy was embarrassed I was ready to run if people came after me for my details though.

The weeks been slow at college its crap as normal and I have little motivation to do anything but work, in-fact thats all I seem to be interested in is doing my work and earning my money thats the point of life right? You earn the money then die. Thursday was valentines day I popped round amys for the night to see her for abit and exchanged gifts and then have a play fight with these heart things, valentines day is very commercialized these days, they sell glorified xmas crackers for valentines day now, whatever happened to the simple rose and a meal (possible reward at the end of the night ) ? Anyways these crackers was just like Christmas ones, they still go bang and u get jokes in them with red hats and keyrings - joy.

Oh well it was a good night but it shocked me how valentines day is now a big con for the big businesses to get more money out of people, even the little corner flower shops didn’t get as much as they normally do because tesco and asda etc was selling roses somuch cheaper then the little shops - bless them.

Cars going strong plenty of 307 mods bringing the phase number to 3.5 lol and cambelt is getting done pretty soon then a checkup on the general running of the car, service etc ready for MOT in June. Weather has been terrible down here the past 2 days thick fog covering the main roads has made traveling a nightmare, especially at night, frost and ice has been make life hard too. Can’t wait for the warm weather to get my splitter painted and fitted decided I’m probably going to get angel lights for my birthday with is coming up fast

Oh damn just realized i’ll have loads of assignments to do dammit! right better end it there then

I really do hate them, yeah its coming to that time again to insure the car… well I’ve tried something new this time, quoting the car in September then quoting it every other day until i get to the desired date, result: £780 comp 150 excess mods declared, excellent so I bought it… wait… WRONG!

I did this on a sunday night… a little peed off at that point, couldn’t ring them Monday was at college same with Tuesday.. so I rang them today, I hate ringing up company’s on the phone because they bend you over and mentally rape you. So I gave the guy my quote number etc he ran me through the details got right to the end and he said “So today I can quote you ** Said the price here really fast** thats £90 a month with a £200 deposit… at that point my heart stopped and I instantly thought… WHAT!?!

I started to do quotes online while the bloke was running through it all, this was infact the cheapest I could get so I bit the bullet and said yes baring in mind there was constant pressure to give an answer right there and then. £90 is affordable no problems I guess…  i’ll just have to watch what I buy and manage my money better fair enough its a lesson in life.

Wait theres more the guy then said hey we are doing a special offer for students breakdown cover… I said no thanks i’ll be alright without it and the guy says nah you could do with it, you pay £7 deposit and then £6 a month I got forced into it and lkept saying no and stuff but I never got anywhere and i’m now paying £96 a month, way to go ENDSLEIGH now i’m stuff with that because its October and as i’m learning the insurance like to rape you more at the end of the year.

I guess that’s all, nan decided to remove the cardboard in the garage yesterday that really pissed me off, its basic common sense why there’s card board on the wall, to stop the door from getting damaged on the wall - duhhh. College well yesterday a total of 5 people actually turned up for A+ yesterday which is a huge disappointment for them who want to do the course, however some was either ill or in Jamies case had an accident.

Why is everyone ill at the moment, Joe came home today feeling sh*t, I wasn’t well last week either im now getting over and that recovering rapidly, at one point I got a sore throat and panicked thinking my glandular fever was coming back. Me and Ay had a little spat at each other Friday night but it was all sorted by Saturday afternoon lol oh well, least I ave my health, and a roof over my head… dunno how long for though *sigh*

I’m not quitting college… I’m going to try get into a university depending on how next year goes, Why the sudden change? Well with a few things that happened I’ve realised its my life I’ll do what i want and not be a sheep.  I’m not going to go and do a college uni course either I’m going to try get into Hulls Art and Design Union there web design course because it seems I enjoy web design more than anything else.

Monday I’m back at college don’t know what its going to be like there but I feel I have to go. Looks like there’s no 100% attendance this term, I’m not dreading going back just a little…. aware… and I will be for a while until things sort themselves out - that’s not going to happen over night. This week I’ve not done a lot mostly going to work and seeing friends.

Today however was pretty good, because my gdads in hospital recovering from a new knee op I drove Nan and Joe to Louth Hospital, its wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, I couldn’t of got there without my sat nav though. The hospital was rather old style and it was a bit scary in one way I didn’t like it and neither did Joe.

Louth sucks, me and Joe drove into town to go clothe shopping but there was f*ck all there in fact I got lost the first time I went looking for town and nearly headed for a 14mile drive to Horncastle. I turned around in someone’s drive only to find they wanted to come into there drive at the same time… whoops… so I reversed into another drive and they wanted to get out of there drive… eventually I turned round and went off driving still lost I stopped on some grass popped sat nav in and told it to take me back to the hospital then I was back tracking my mistake… we found town eventually.

Town was mental there was people everywhere Joe was talking loudly about the people looking inbred and how old the town is I was telling him to shhh lol. WE FOUND NO SHOPS OF INTEREST - I found a bank or a group of banks but no shops… after feeling defeated we drove back to the hospital and stayed there for another 30 mins then drove to Boston because we was going to have a meal at Eagles… WRONG – Well not straight away.

Boston had a footy match on and ohh what was the odds we came just when people was coming out… there was people EVERYWHERE! No parking spots either! eventually parked along a side of a road we got into eagles and ordered a meal. I had cod and chips so did Joe… nana has her lasagne because she has nothing else but that or scampi… wow I’d get bored of that.

Joe announces he wants a piercing nana gets all defensive and grumpy - get over it, he isn’t going to listen he will do what he wants (Cant wait to see gdads response though!) it’s not been too bad I guess… SiteDesignr is coming along nicely put a lot of work into it too. One of my main problems is clients don’t seem to want to do the analysis stage.. I made them a questionnaire and they just aren’t interested in filling it in… Are we supposed to read minds now?

Last week was pretty boring we didnt do alot just some college work and we started out City & Guilds work too, I plowed ahead to try get some work done, but i’ve still got Sad 2 to finish and to tell the truth im kinda stuck on it now… Web dev aint a problem thats straight forward and i think thats what i’ll get done hopefully by friday!

Pete is now back at college he is very loud we aint been used to such noises in weeks lol! Didnt see alot of shelly this week but we did see each other as much as possible She is on placement this week so I may or may not get to see her depending on how our breaks fallin with each others so i hope we do get to see each other abit more, im going round hers on sunday

Its been a interesting week at work too! The power station is off for a month and work started this week I was up in control  room and well theres not a great deal of work to do really not as bad as i thought it would be. The system is currently being upgraded this i found very interesting because its actaully seeing what i’ve learn in college like SAD the current system would of been analysized then plans drawn up what whats require and now there implementing it and bug reporting as its bespoke software.

I have a funny idea its  either VB or C++ too I really wanna learn more buI aint the most talkitive person at work like I am at college… all in good time Also I have been experimenting with php and mysql and made a user login system then expanded it to a posting system too if you feel a  need to try it out heres the link its pretty basic though!

Well this week its been boring really what with my portable hard drive dying while backing up it just aint really been my week. Its starts off with last week i’d got all my assignmnets near enough completed and deleted the old backup on WAP (grentz PC) to make room for the new backup (WAP has only got 300mb disk space left) Goto run the backup half way through it spins down… windows starts moaning about it… not being able to read it…

So i unplugged it and popped it back in nothing… totally dead no spin up nothing… so i preordered one from PC Worlds site and drove to Kings Lynn bought it for £20… urgh then drove home. Got home openned the case and there was a hard drive inside already… wierd… so i took that one out and popped mine in and nothing… i started to panic because i’d lost all last years work and more importantly all this years work i was nearly at crying stages at one point.

So i calmed down and started looking into Data Recovery prices ranging from £100 to £1000, i got a quote of £145 to have my data recovered but decided it would be faster (and cheaper) to redo it again so here I am redo’ing SAD , BIS 2, and web dev! Well having a break at least! Thats all i’ve really been doing

Friday was my birthday i had my mate pete round because everyone was busy or they live too far away which is fair enough. Me and pete had a pretty good laugh we didnt go out just sat in the living room watching old school tv programs like… Crystal Maze while getting pissed lol! pretty fun time Saturday was interesting, i was n bed and at 7am theres a phone call… (im still recovering from friday) answer it and theres an emergency next door… i’ll let the pictures answer:

Yes thats a flood in the front garden from the previous nights heavy rain the mina sewage pipe got blocked and so my aunt was getting everyones sewage in the front lawn as the day progressed more water just kept on coming until anglian water turned up 4 hours later! I got sat nav for my Bday which is pretty cool for when i got out to places, like to see shelly.

Worked sunday didnt do alot though monday… see shelly and my mates lol that was pretty cool but i didnt get to see shelly much same with tuesday but she looked so fit seriously it made me think to myself wow i’m going out with her i feel like the luckiest guy alive (i know you will all laugh but thats how she makes me feel, she is so hot!
