Well it’s been the first week back at college and if I’m honest with myself I really think I’ve enjoyed it. I am doing Networking/techie stuff for the whole year which I love doing. Didn’t do a lot Monday mostly talking and stuff then we finished early enough for me to get to work to finish at 7 so I got the whole evening to play with.

Tuesday is a Optional day it’s normally your day off but for me and 8 others it’s an extra qualification called A+ by CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) it’s a industry recognized qualification:

Topics of the Core examination include IRQs, direct memory access, practical computer repair, including installing or repairing: hard drives, modems, network cards, CPUs, power supplies, printers, and so forth. The focus of the exam is not theory, but practice. Sometimes graphics are used in exam questions. Topics included in the Operating Systems Exam include: memory management, configuration files, and historical operating environments rather than the cutting edge, newer technologies. (Wikipedia)

So it’s right up my street basically. Wednesday I had off so I washed the car then built a diluter which is like a bottle added to the hose pipe so I can spray car shampoo straight onto the car hmmm I’ll go get a pic…

So that was fun making lol… Thursday was a b*tch and it really did take it out of me, Friday was all right too so yeah im pretty happy with the layout of the time table apart from Thursdays but that’s fine I’d rather have one hard day lol.

Been testing some new anti-spam software for my blog called  Defensio im currently BETA testing it overall its not too bad but its let in a little bit of spam… but it is new so…

Hey all mostly site updates this week. I’ve been so busy with web design work for clients its been hard to fit in a blog post here and there following my previous rant and Microsoft and there block of the the *.info domain I have purchased tomwrote.co.uk and tomwrote.com I will have to rewrite some of the javascript backend so all the domains will work as you will noticed there are problems with the site right now.

So not a great deal going on abit of overtime here and there with a few sundays chucked in. Tuesday I had a drive down with dave to grantham to buy a bonnet as I was told of pug306.net that there was a mint phase 2/3 bonnet there I rant up and they wanted £50 for it so I went down to find it, I did find the car and bonnet but after pushing the lid down only to find it was dented worse than mine.

Then we travelled further to tatershall to have a look arround there bigger place but nothing special so still looking for a bonnet *sigh* In my (lack) of spare time i’ve also been developing a home media network called “Median” pronouced Media-EN and it stands for Media Network basically it allows my recent aquired laptop i fixed that college was chucking out but issac kindly said I could have, to control my pc over the network.

Its a simple web GUI that alows full control over what I am playing i’m also currently working on a iTunes version so i can control my music just from the laptop. Hopefully going to see Amy this saturday but as I found out in a txt today shes feeling a little under the weather *sigh* hopefully she will be better soon! I still have no idea when i’m going back to college either but and have my results! 5 passes and 5 merits… thing is I was never given the chance to redo my web dev upto distinction how nice!

People at work keep asking me what i’m gonna do when I finish college I still have no ideabut its nice that some are suggesting ideas now and i am finding it alot easier to talk to them or some at least. There currently having some work done at the power station so theres a few more on site currently so the place can be a little bit more messier then normal.

I guess thats it hmmm video time? I guess so lets see what I got…

I think we are back on the air, live and kicking again, yesterday I once again got the Digg Effect woo! and bandwith went sky high! So i guessed it was time to move to a new server and cheaper then what I was paying on my prior web host. I have moved to DreamHost… I did look at my mates hosting but I did the maths and this worked out to be a better deal for my needs… well more than enough.

This is now what I have got!

• 200gb of webspace with goes up 1GB a week!
•  2tb – Yes 2 Terrabytes of bandwth
• Everything else is virtually unlimited.
• $190.80 for 2yrs BUT click here to drop it to £47.80 for 2yrs!

Compare that to my old host:

• 500mb of webspace
• 10gb of bandwith
• Everything else is unlimited.
• £30 a year thats £60 for 2yrs!

Hopefully this will be faster and the FTP seems alot quicker  too, Been busy working on my dedicated webdesign site and online portfolio but cant decide on a design yet. Development aint going too bad been putting some content on there and doing that. I’ve kinda missed shelly but i cba with it anymore just fed up of everything really.

Aparently slagging people off when I have’nt ok maybe moaned a little but don’t we all do that? be completely honest don’t you moan about some people you mean no harm but you just need to get it off your chest.  its comming to the point I cba to come to college anymore there always some sh*t and i get the blame for it.

I really don’t wanna do next yrs course because the ways things are i’m lost in life with no real idea what to do anymore. i’m fed up living in this country too my cars too expensive yet I have to keep it because its in dads name I have TW*T wrote on my windows of my car and a d*ck on the back window f*cking childish!

i’m just begining to f*ck my life it isn’t worth it anymore because the way people are with me I AM MISUNDERSTOOD most of the time people take things I say WAY to seriously, where a joke gets turned arround into a nasty comment I HATE IT because I didnt intend it to be like that and it f*cking drives me wild with anger because I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE TWIST SH*T ROUND!

Fine if you don’t like me stay away, don’t bother me and I won’t bother you, i’m seriously f*cked of with this childish bullsh*t its doing my head in because all I wanted to do when I started college was come here f*cking leanr something then p*ss off out of the country forever! This country has f*ck all to offer to the english people apart from benifits from taxpayers money.

Whats the point in working? we are only paying the lazy b*stards that cant get off there arse and get a job… harsh… ok I know myself its hard to get a job BUT AT LEAST F*CKING TRY! ARGGHH. FUCK I HATE MY LIFE.

Me and shelly have broke up, she said that it wasn’t working out and she didnt feel hapy again… typical so thats it… no more some of my mates knew I had a idea something was up with her because she has neglected me all week and I feel a little used too because i taxi’d her and a mate from coningsby to donnington last saturday and then went round hers sunday to fix her pc *sigh* oh well!

yesterday was a pretty sh*tty day at college too it was really pissing me off i’m glad i’ve got 2 weeks off to just chill out and recharge my batteries because i’ve felt so run down and find out shelly wanted to end it really didnt help, damn my stupidity. Wednesday was interesting at college… Well i was in lesson wen mick walked in a and kinda shouted out “TOM PARKER” I thought i was in trouble (as i do) then he asked me to come to the front so I did… and he gave me this easter egg for 100% attendence this term which i was pretty happy about, I shared the egg with my mates

I don’t know if I mentioned it in the last post but my car has being playing up this time with the plip on my key it wont unlock or lock… I wednesday me, marshall and storer took a trip upto peugeot to see what they could do… at first the bloke got my car wrong eventually after getting the chasis number they found my car on the computer… aparently it is the key so a new one has been ordered heres the painful part:

• Price of the plip/key – £52
• Labour £32
• Unknown number entered into the calculator… 17.5 (guessing thats VAT)

Final price… £99.98, £100 to get the car sorted… so its going in this wednesday (11th) to have it sorted out… bless it oh well I guess I need these things sorted. i guess thats all really hopefully going to be opening SiteDesignr (new site) this easter hol i’ve been making progress on it

Yes this week i’ve been impressed I love out new time table because most of its in the labs or 148 woo , Today i laid in bed because I wasnt gonna set off for college until 9 this way its alot better because I should be able to skip some of the rush hour traffic and that I aint got a hour to kill soon as i get to college Downside is that I aint really got to see my gf shelly much this week but we do make use of the time together when we get it so that pretty cool! I went round shellys on sunday to spend some time together it was nice being together and I tried to sort out her PC while I was there but she had some many viruses (180) and so much adware and spware (993) that removing the effected files removed explorer.exe – oops.

I’ve done some minor upgrades to my system this week with a new 160gb SATA (3gb/s) hard drive and putting the old 120gb into my grentz PC and selling the 40gb out of my grentz PC to someone at college. I’m also buliding another system which i will sell in the end I think because i can’t find a decent use for it, I had serveral ideas at first these were:

• Linux webserver – Could use it for developing projects like SysTom or Paid jobs
• Media Center – Required buying decent graphics card and tv card…
• Spare Machine – Would only collect dust…
• Dedicated fileserver – WAP (grentz PC) is now one…
• BETA Tester machine – Not really in many BETA products anymore.

So yeah there some good ideas there but they will either require more money which i don’t like spending or would get bored of using in the end.

Work is going alright this week too whih is good, Ooooh yeah Saturday was interesting because on Wednesday grandad bought a new pump for the front pond so Saturday was my day getting it to fit the orginal system, at first this proved to be abit of a pain because the pipe was too small to fit the pump, but with some inprovisation i managed to get some bits of piping together and make it join to the pipe I added a tap too.

With all that in place it was ready to go put it all together and what happened? the filter floods so it was a good job I added the tap to turn down the pressure few tweaks later its back on without flooding… go me. So yeah thats all really i got a video as normal this one is a little bit wierd
