Yes! after testing out leaks of pre-beta bulids and other stuff today I got my email from the good old MSN devs 
Dear MSN Butterfly,
Okay, we're ready for you.You can now download and start testing the new beta version of MSN® Messenger, which will now be called Windows LiveTM Messenger.
I have to thank Vazz for the invite code thanks alot mate, and I hope to get some bugs reported, when I find them thats the least I can do i guess your alll dying to see pictures of it?… *tumble weed rolls past*… damn well i'll post some anyways 
Here we have the convo window theres a few noticable new features like file sharing I am very disapointed with the current style of WLM 8 even though I know its currently BETA and the style could totally change. Like all the other MSN 7 / 7.5 BETA's the design has hardly changed when it has been released to the public.
The GUI looks terrible. Thats my honest opinion, if only they made it look like Windows Live Mail then that would be sweet!
And heres the contact list ouch thats bad :S "The Future of MSN Messenger" Sucks. Oh well this next screenshot is disgusting 109Mb of RAM is needed to run WLM 8 thats HIGHIER then photoshop
Why on earth does it needs that much I have no idea!
